ISO 14001: New Accreditation!

This week, Locktel received our third British Assessment Bureau ISO Accreditation in Environmental Management (14001)!

What is ISO 14001?

ISO 14001 is a standardised accreditation in which companies can showcase their environmental standards. This includes aspects such as waste reduction, environmentally friendly processes and more. Furthermore, it ensures company’s compliance to environmental legislation.

What are the benefits of Accreditation?

Having ISO Accreditation means that our business practices are universally accepted as being of standard in terms of Environmental Management. To see what other accreditation we have, visit our page.

Being accredited demonstrates that we are dedicated to environmental protection. Similarly, it shows that we are a proactive company and are compliant with current legislation.

Our Processes for Environmental Management

At Locktel, we conduct our business in an ethical and socially responsible manner. We understand that it is our duty to protect the environments in which we operate.

As we are regularly disturbing landscapes to install fibre to many homes and businesses, we subsequently have to ensure that we leave sites as we found them. Our teams work as cleanly and efficiently as possible. We always clean up our sites once finished and reduce obstruction to landscapes as much as possible.

In our office, we use energy efficient lighting and reducing paper waste by going mostly paperless. In addition, we encourage car-sharing where appropriate.
