At Locktel Ltd and Locktel Training Academy, we are dedicated to prioritizing the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, clients, and the public. We understand and accept our legal obligations and responsibilities under current health and safety legislation.
Organisation:
- Regulatory Compliance: We regularly review and update our policy to ensure compliance with any changes in health and safety legislation or regulations, including RIDDOR requirements.
- Risk Assessment: Regular reviews of risk assessment processes are conducted to identify new hazards or changes in existing ones. Control measures are updated accordingly to mitigate risks effectively.
- Training and Competence: We assess training needs and provide relevant instruction to maintain staff competence and awareness of health and safety procedures. We ensure the safety of venues and equipment used for training and assessment through regular inspections and maintenance checks.
- Incident Analysis: All incidents, injuries, diseases, and dangerous occurrences are analysed to identify trends and improve preventive measures. Reporting is conducted in compliance with RIDDOR requirements.
- Technological Advances: We consider technological advancements that may impact health and safety practices, updating protocols accordingly.
- Employee Feedback: Communication and consultation with staff and students on health and safety needs are prioritised. We encourage feedback to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments to the policy.

- Emergency Preparedness: Emergency response procedures are regularly reviewed and updated based on lessons learned. All staff and students are made aware of their roles and responsibilities in the event of an emergency.
- Continuous Improvement: We foster a culture of continuous improvement, incorporating feedback into policy revisions to enhance effectiveness over time.
- Documentation and Communication: The updated policy is effectively communicated to all employees, students, suppliers, and subcontractors. Clear documentation of policy revisions and dissemination efforts is maintained.
