Grab Driver
Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated Grab Driver to join our team in Livingston. The primary responsibility of this role will be to assist in the transportation of materials to various work sites and provide support to our civil teams.
Responsibilities
- Transporting materials and equipment to designated work sites.
- Assisting construction teams with loading and unloading materials as needed.
- Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of vehicles and equipment.
- Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks.
- Performing general maintenance tasks as required.
- Perform daily vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Plan efficient routes for deliveries and ensure punctual service.
- Communicate effectively with you line management and team members to coordinate deliveries efficiently.
Qualifications
- Valid UK driving license with a clean driving record, Class 2 license, CPCS Lorry Loader.
- Up to date driver CPC and Digi Tacho.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings as needed.
