TRR / Cabling Engineer
Description

We are looking to recruit experienced cabling engineers capable to perform Test, Rod & Rope, installation of sub-ducts, micro-ducts and BFT.

In this role you will be required to read cable diagrams, duct plans, network diagrams and schematics, make risk assessments, make A55, make Box-to-Box and photo reports. You will also be required to troubleshoot cable routes on underground network.

Responsibilities

As a TRR & Cabling Installation Crew member you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of required connections. You will be in regular contact with Site Supervisors and Clients Supervisors regarding the progress of the project.

Total compliance with all health & safety and quality procedures is of the utmost importance.

Qualifications
  • Full UK Driving Licence (+E preferred)
  • Able to work across a variety of sites
  • Previous experience as a TRR or Cabling Engineer
  • Comfortable using mobiles/tablets for work
  • Willing to travel with overnight stay
  • Written and verbal English skills
  • Right to Work in the UK (Settlement Status)
Accreditations
  • NRSWA - Unit 2 (Street Works Operative)
  • SA002 - Safety underground
  • S7 PIA sub-duct and cable installation
  • Confined Spaces Level 2
  • EUSR Card (CSCS)
